Project-1: LITERATI
Celebrated World book Day on 23rd April 2015.Introducted students to the importance of books and developed reading and writing skills through power point presentation .Students learnt about few great Indian and UK Authors and poets through poster making activity.

Dramatization of 'How I taught My Grandma to read ' story by Sudha Murthy where an illiterate grandmother learnt to read and write from her grandchild.

poems by English poets were recited by STUDENTS in the assembly.

Project-2 DIFFERENT PLACES ,SIMILAR LIVES
made posters on when and why is the National day celebrated .It included picture pasting and information gathering of the events .The students exchanged their work with the school.

Students tried to find out the latitude and longitude , climatic zone, climatic condition , traditional costumes and types of crops grown in both the countries . They presented the comparisons on activity sheets.

Students shared their daily routine with the students of the link school to find out the similarity in their day to day lives.

project-3: EPIC SPACE MISSION
Students organized a science exhibition where they worked on exhibiting various phenomena related to space and solar system to arouse curiosity and awareness related to space.Projects on space , solar system . various phases of moon were depicted through postrs,charts and models.

Shown Documentary on space mission by NASA worked on activities in the British Council Template of Epic Space Mission.

Collaborated with Rahul tiwari undergraduate at Perdue University and Intern at NASA to learn Mission of the trip of Scott Kelly and Mikhail Korneinko.

Project-4: INCREDIBLE ADJECTIVE

Students were introduced to an interesting video on YOU Tube showing " Hairy Scary and Ordinary . Students created plack cards for the various Describing words . Pen paper activities related to usage of adjectives were organised.

A role play was organized where students used common adjective to describe noun. A video will be created and uploaded on You Tube.

Students worked on inserting adjectives for pictures of people of differnr countries , chosen for the projects.

Students worked on world map to place appropriate adjectives to describe the various land marks.

Project-5: ROCK DETECTIVE

Research work done by students to try and find out the physical properties of some of the rocks that are found in the vicinity Students worked on hardness , colour , luster and specific gravity ofv rocks . They then included their observations in observation sheet and exchanged it with link school.

Created power point presenting to understand the formation of rocks and soils.

Quiz competition were organized to understand how much the students have understood the concept.

student created information analysis on the minerals found in the countries studied.

Project-6: THREAT TO THE BEAUTY OF TAJ MAHAL

Created information analysis on seven wonders of world after seeing the documentary on You Tube.

Created a power point presentation which lead to a journey in to the story behind making of the Taj Mahal , the architecture , the changing colour of monument , factor of pollution sffecting the colour of the monument and the steps taken by the government to preserve it.

The work was shared with the link school . The students of link school answered a questionnaire prepared by the home school based on the ppt sent to them.

Project-7: MIGRATION

Group discussions and role play .
A group discussion was held to make students aware of all the favorable conditions they enjoyto a lead a normal life, discussion were also held on why people need to leave their homes and go to newer places.Essay competition were organized and the best essay were put up on the display board.

A small role play was organized which helped them understand the tough living conditions the migrants face.Students worked on British Council's Online Template prepared on the Europe's Migration Crisis.

Student were be shown a Documentary by BBC focusing on Kaos island in Greece where thousands of people are migrating from Libiya and syria following poverty and Civil Wars.


Work was exchanged with link school in Australia.
